Kris Humphries Gets Booed During First Nets Game

Kris Humphries might be "excited to be back" to the NBA, but apparently some fans don't share his enthusiasm.

Now much more famous for his life off the court than on it, the soon-to-be ex-husband of Kim Kardashian endured a very unwelcoming response from the crowd at his first game back with the New Jersey Nets -- against the New York Knicks in Madison Square Garden Wednesday night.

As the 6-foot-9 forward entered the game in the second quarter, the basketball fans began to boo and laugh as he took the court.

The booing was so loud the commentators made note of it, saying they were "shocked at the treatment he's getting" from the live audience.

"Kris Humphries coming into the game, just signing a new deal. There's a...the boos from the fans," they said. "He's one of the most famous players in the NBA now, it has nothing to do with basketball but obviously with his marriage and quick divorce to Kim Kardashian. You feel bad for the young man. He's gonna, no doubt, hear all sorts of taunts and stuff throughout the season."
