Maria Shriver and Arnold Schwarzenegger may be comfortable spending time together with their children, but the latest reports say the couple is still going ahead with their divorce.
Although a New York Post story claimed the former governor of California and his estranged wife were on the road to reconciliation, an insider tells Us Weekly that the two "are not reconciling and not in counseling."
Rumors surfaced that Schwarzenegger and Shriver were getting back together after the high-profile duo spent Christmas with their kids and even went to a Lakers game as a family.
The source adds that Schwarzenegger, 64, and Shriver, 56, are amicable enough to be seen together because "they are being parents together." The iconic action star and award-winning journalist have four children: Katherine, 22, Christina, 20, Patrick, 18, and Christopher, 14.
"They will continue to be seen together because of their family but they are not reconciling," the Us source says.
Shriver filed for divorce last summer after her husband of 25 years admitted he had fathered a child with their former housekeeper Mildred Baena more than a decade earlier.
"There are no excuses and I take full responsibility for the hurt I have caused," Schwarzenegger said at the time. "I have apologized to Maria, my children and my family. I am truly sorry."
