The former "Newlyweds" star took to her official website to share the exciting news, including a pic of costume-clad self cradling her tummy while cutely writing, "It's true ? I'm going to be a mummy!"
The confirmation comes a week after widespread speculation arose upon a sighting in which she showed off a wound and protruding bump while traveling from LAX in Los Angeles to New York City's JFK Airport.
Miss Simpson's bundle of joy comes thanks to fiance Eric Johnson - with the impending arrival to be the couple's first.
