The game is afoot, as the Warner Brothers ?Sherlock Holmes 3? production team hires a screenwriter. With the second Guy Ritchie film due out on December 16, ?Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows?, starring Robert Downing, Jr., and Jude Law, screenwriter Drew Pearce has gotten the nod to begin work on the third installment. Pearce?s latest project is the script for ?Iron Man 3?. He also assisted on the script for the upcoming alien invasion movie, ?Pacific Rim?, which will begin filming shortly. Sherlock Holmes is one of those great characters in our literary culture who is truly timeless. In 2009, the BBC along with PBS here in America revamped the private detective for the 21st Century, with Holmes, a border-line crazy, sending text messages to Inspector Lestrade.
