Recent reports claimed that actress Brenda Song and her longtime boyfriend Trace Cyrus are expecting. But at least one close relative says it's not true.
Mai Song, the Social Network actress' mother, tells Star magazine that the rumors about her 23-year-old daughter are rubbish.
"She's actually not pregnant," Song says.
If confirmed true, Mama Song's refutation is perfectly timed, since Song recently made headlines with tabloids wondering where in the world her baby bump is hiding.
But the rumors that Song is having a baby with Miley Cyrus' 22-year-old brother are particularly upsetting to her mother, she admits, because she is reportedly undergoing cancer treatment again.
"It's very upsetting to our family because of what I'm going through, and it's not how we raised her," said Song, who is a breast cancer survivor.
So are the starlet and the rocker, who were first spotted together in May, going to become young parents? Until Song's publicist confirms or denies her pregnancy, we can only assume that mother knows best.
