It isn't a dapper red-carpet photo -- but as far as mug shots go, Armie Hammer's recently released snap isn't bad at all.
The Social Network and J. Edgar star posed for the photo back on November 20, when he was arrested in Sierra Blanca, Texas, for marijuana possession, according to TMZ. The Associated Press reports that the 25-year-old actor was nabbed by boder police after a drug-sniffing dog discovered three medicinal marijuana cookies and one brownie in the actor's car.
Prosecutors dropped the case against Hammer because he only had 0.02 ounces of actual marijuana in his possession, and a felony charge requires more than 4 ounces.
Although there won't be any charges, Hammer spent the day in jail and had to pay a $1,000 bond. He'll next pose for the cameras on Sunday -- this time on the red-carpet of the Screen Actor's Guild Awards, where he's nominated for best supporting actor for J. Edgar. Now that's something to smile about.
