Kim Richards Admits She's an Alcoholic

Kim Richards Admits She's an Alcoholic

Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Kim Richards is finally ready to admit what anyone who watches her show has known all along.

"I'm an alcoholic," the 47-year-old confesses during the upcoming three-part RHOBH season 2 reunion special, which kicks off Jan. 30 at 9 p.m.

While Richards didn't participate in the initial filming of the reunion (she was still in rehab for alcohol abuse), she did sit down for a separate chat with Andy Cohen -- and it will air during the final leg of the special on Feb. 13 (happy early Valentine's Day!). Watch a video preview below.

It's somewhat ironic that Richards would choose to admit her alcohol problem during the season 2 reunion, considering the fact she denied her alcoholism to Cohen in last year's reunion special. But it's good to know that she's finally come to terms with -- and getting treatment for -- her addiction.

But Richards' alcoholism is just a small part of the drama that will unfold on the three-part special. Dana Wilkey, a "friend" of the Housewives, joins Richards for part three, and they'll discuss the now-infamous game night where newbie Brandi Glanville got into a heated argument with Richards and her sister Kyle.

What can we expect from the first two segments? Well, with the exception of Richards, the gang's all back together for part one. Expect tensions to run high as Taylor Armstrong, Camille Grammer, Adrienne Maloof, Kyle Richards and Lisa Vanderpump sit down to chat. Some of the many topics to be discussed are the confrontation between Grammer and Armstrong at Vanderpump's tea party and Maloof accusing Vanderpump of selling stories to the tabloids.

In part two (airing Feb. 6), Glanville joins the mix. She managed to cause trouble all season by making controversial comments, and it sounds like she's not making life any easier on herself in the upcoming special.

Case in point: her take of game night. "I was being bullied in a room and I had no friends," she says of threatening the other ladies. Needless to say, the other Housewives aren't too sympathetic.

And, as if a three-part reunion weren't enough, a "lost footage" episode airing Feb. 16 promises to feature more video documentation of Glanville and Kyle Richards' intense fight at the Malibu beach party. Bring it on!
