Mariah Carey says husband Nick Cannon still needs prayers and concern. The singer, 41, confirmed that her ailing husband, who was hospitalized in Aspen after suffering from "mild kidney failure," has been transported to a medical center in Los Angeles.
"Thank you all for all your love, prayers and concern. You know me ... I will be a'ight," Cannon twittered Wednesday evening.
A witness tells Us Weekly that Cannon, Carey and their 8-month-old twins Moroccan and Monroe boarded a private jet headed back home to Los Angeles. "Nick looked pretty frail and weak, but Mariah was helping him," the insider told Us.
While still in Colorado, Carey updated People about Cannon's health situation. She also kept fans in the loop via her website and Twitter account.
"As always, he's in good spirits considering the situation," Carey told People.
The singer admitted "the situation is not easy" and that her 31-year-old husband was stable but "in a lot of pain."
"We are hopeful that he'll be 100 percent as soon as possible," she adds. "We really appreciate everybody's love and support."
